About The Position

Orangetheory Fitness Edina is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Fitness Coaches, Group Exercise Instructors, and Front Desk Associates. This role involves inspiring members to achieve their fitness goals through science-backed, technology-tracked workouts. The ideal candidate is passionate about fitness, possesses strong motivational skills, and can create a welcoming and energetic environment for members. This is an opportunity to lead a 1-hour full-body group workout and contribute to a company culture that emphasizes positivity, passion, expertise, and growth.

Requirements

Must have some Weekend, Evening and Early Morning Availability
Being AED/CPR certified
Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness

Responsibilities

Coaching 12-15 classes a week
Leading and motivating members through pre-defined workouts
Helping members set and achieve goals
Ensuring members use correct form and offering corrections
Understanding the science behind Orangetheory workouts and heart-rate focused training
Knowing how to use and demonstrate all equipment utilized in workouts
Being a team player
Greeting everyone who enters the studio with enthusiasm, energy and knowledge
Presenting the OTF concept to interested consumers ('intros')
Contacting interested future members to try class via phone/email/text
Working at the front desk, including answering phones and talking to members
Giving studio tours
Working with trainers to guide intros through their first Orangetheory workout
Selling memberships
Following up on prospective clients
Handling members’ concerns professionally and objectively
Participating in marketing and outreach events
Ensuring all areas of the studio are kept clean and organized
Social Media posting on local account pages
