About The Position
Join Pilgrim Place, a welcoming senior living community in Claremont, CA, where respect, kindness, and teamwork guide all that we do. We’re looking for a dependable and compassionate Part Time Fitness Center Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll provide personal care and support that helps residents maintain comfort, dignity, and independence.
Requirements
- College degree in Sports Science or related field required.
- Current personal trainer certification required.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Ability to manage staff with strong confidentiality and sound judgment skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with seniors in exercise programs preferred.
Responsibilities
- Leads fitness classes and exercise programs for senior residents.
- Supervises and trains Fitness Center staff on safe exercise practices and resident care.
- Assists residents with workout plans, equipment use, and exercise progress tracking.
- Monitors equipment safety, resident health needs, and reports maintenance issues.
- Supports teamwork, safety practices, and organizational goals within the community.
