About The Position

Exceptional guest experiences begin with a warm welcome and personalized service. We are looking for a Fitness Concierge who is passionate about hospitality, enjoys creating memorable guest experiences, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service in a luxury fitness and wellness environment. In this role, you will be an important part of the guest experience at AquaVie Fitness & Wellness Club, serving as a welcoming first point of contact for members and guests. You will assist with spa reservations, fitness services, membership inquiries, retail sales, and daily front desk operations while ensuring every guest feels valued, comfortable, and well cared for. You will help create a seamless and enjoyable experience by providing knowledgeable recommendations, anticipating guest needs, and maintaining the high standards of service that define AquaVie.

Requirements

Previous experience in a spa, fitness center, hotel, luxury hospitality, front desk, or guest service environment preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional appearance, demeanor, and a welcoming, service-focused approach.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while remaining calm, efficient, and professional.
Experience with appointment scheduling, reservation systems, and Point of Sale (POS) systems preferred.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software and operational procedures.
Ability to handle cash, credit card transactions, and guest information accurately and responsibly.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
Familiarity with spa treatments, wellness services, fitness programs, or membership operations preferred.
Ability to remain active and mobile throughout the shift.
Availability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and other shifts based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Welcoming and checking in members, hotel guests, and spa visitors in a warm, professional, and courteous manner.
Providing exceptional guest service while maintaining AquaVie's luxury hospitality standards.
Answering incoming calls, responding to inquiries, and providing accurate information regarding spa treatments, fitness programs, memberships, and facility amenities.
Scheduling, confirming, modifying, and managing spa treatments and personal training appointments.
Assisting guests with spa services, locker room procedures, facility access, and general club information.
Maintaining a thorough understanding of available spa treatments, fitness programs, memberships, products, and services.
Recommending and promoting spa treatments, retail products, memberships, and additional services based on guest needs.
Processing payments accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including cash, credit cards, and other accepted payment methods.
Balancing and reconciling daily transactions and completing required shift reports.
Assisting with membership inquiries, enrollment, account updates, and administrative support.
Maintaining accurate reservations, guest records, membership information, and transaction documentation.
Monitoring retail inventory, replenishing merchandise, and maintaining organized and visually appealing displays.
Maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the front desk, reception area, and other shared guest spaces.
Performing regular facility walkthroughs to ensure guest areas are clean, organized, safe, and operating appropriately.
Identifying and reporting maintenance concerns, equipment issues, safety hazards, or other conditions requiring attention.
Responding promptly to guest requests, questions, and concerns while working toward a positive resolution.
Following established safety, security, cash handling, and operational procedures.
Maintaining guest privacy and confidentiality when handling personal information and transactions.
Communicating effectively with spa, fitness, housekeeping, and management teams to ensure a smooth guest experience.
Supporting daily opening and closing procedures, administrative responsibilities, and other operational duties as needed.
Participating in team meetings, training, and cross-training opportunities to support the overall operation of AquaVie.
