About The Position
Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean place for students and staff to exercise. Communicates rules and regulations to staff and students and checks both in and out of the appropriate areas.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must have CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
Nice To Haves
- Previous fitness center experience or Personal Training certification preferred but not required; experience and/or certification must be demonstrated on application materials
Responsibilities
- Maintains student attendance records for students attending the fitness center.
- Cleans the fitness center regularly, preventing the possibility of a viral or bacterial outbreak.
- Responsible for opening and closing the fitness center and reporting all events to the supervisor.
- Supplies and assists instructors with preparation for fitness training, weight training, and other various fitness-related classes.
- Maintains fitness center equipment and keeps the pool area clean and debris-free.
- Mentors work-study students.
- Responsible for reporting any equipment issues and/or needs.
- Supports and participates in strategic planning initiatives, and performs other duties as assigned.
