About The Position
New Albany Country Club is currently accepting applications for a Fitness Attendant. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Shifts needed include evenings and weekends. Benefits include free employee meals, parking, a staff shirt, and advancement opportunities. The role involves greeting and checking in all Fitness Center members, monitoring activities within all fitness divisions, providing daily care and cleaning of all equipment, and consistently enforcing all Fitness Centers' policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Must be 18 and over.
- Passion for the Fitness Field.
Nice To Haves
- Nationally recognized Certified Personal Trainer certification from ACE, ACSM, NASM, NSCA, NCSF, NFPT, ISSA, NCEP.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in all Fitness Center members.
- Monitor all activities within all fitness divisions.
- Provide daily care and cleaning of all equipment.
- Enforce all Fitness Centers' policies and procedures in a consistent manner.
- Deliver exceptional service.
- Enhance member experience by maintaining a clean, safe, orderly fitness floor, group exercise room, cycle studio, and Pilates studios.
- Rack weights, pick up towels, fold and stock clean towels, clean equipment, pick up/store equipment and accessories, straighten up newspapers, refill water stations, and address any other fitness division-related member needs.
- Acknowledge incoming and exiting members in and throughout the club.
- Assist members and guests with questions and concerns working beside the Fitness Supervisor, MOD, and Fitness & Aquatics Director.
