About The Position

BallenIsles Country Club is seeking a driven, Full-Time Fitness Attendant/Fitness Monitor eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. This role involves greeting members, assisting with fitness center needs, managing inquiries, scheduling appointments, performing light custodial duties, and handling opening/closing procedures. The position is seeking local candidates only.

Requirements

• Must possess familiarity and understanding of fitness equipment
• Ability to read and speak English is required in order to perform the duties of the job
• Must be member service-oriented and possess a professional manner
• Must have basic computer knowledge
• Interest in fitness required

Nice To Haves

• CPR Certification preferred
• Previous experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and departure to the fitness center
• Check member identification card and validate guest participation
• Sign in members and guests, advising them of rules and procedures of the fitness center
• Report safety concerns to supervisor
• Adjust music and/or television equipment as needed
• Perform minor custodial duties to include wiping down machines, picking up discarded items, emptying trash, and restocking towels
• Help keep fitness center neat and tidy
• Perform opening and closing duties at fitness center as required
• Answer phones and guest inquiries; schedule personal training sessions
• Assist the Health & Wellness Director and provide basic instruction to equipment users
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
• Regular, flexible and reliable attendance
• Perform other duties as required
