About The Position

Requirements
- PhD in fisheries science or marine biology
- Experience in population genetics and genomics
- Molecular experience required
- Previous computational software experience in Linux, Perl, or Python or similar software experience required
- 2 – 3 years practical field experience required
- Background in developing computational models and field work

- Preferred grant writing experience
Responsibilities
- Take a primary role in grant writing and assist in fund-raising efforts
- Generating and analyzing genomic and transcriptomic sequencing data for fisheries or aquaculture applications
