About The Position

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is seeking to hire a three (3) month position that will assist with fish culture duties, spawning activities, facility maintenance, and grounds keeping at the Wyoming Game and Fish Department’s Tillett Springs Rearing Station. Duties will include but not be limited to tank cleaning, feeding, sample counts, feed calculations, fish inventories, aquaculture equipment maintenance, fish distribution and stocking, helping with Kokanee Salmon spawning operations, and a variety of other fish culture activities. Assisting other hatcheries with routine work and spawning activities as needed. Duties will also include work to maintain the facility grounds, buildings, and equipment not directly tied to aquaculture.

Requirements

Must possess a valid driver's license
Pass a background check before appointment

Nice To Haves

Pursuing a college degree or already have a college degree in fish and wildlife management, science, biology, or natural resource management
