As a Fiscal Technician 3, you will support the Accounts Receivable and Cashiering functions and will be responsible for ensuing accurate and timely recording of agency cash receipts, revenues and accounts receivable data so that others can rely on the records.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and 18 months of work experience.

Responsibilities
- Audit Cash Receipting System (CARS) check logs using documentation accompanying the checks to determine whether cash receipts have been properly posted to the proper program, making corrections into the system for errors discovered.
- Prepare manual A-8's outside of CARS system for Industrial Insurance and Self Insurance lockbox receipts, ACH debit payments received from Express Filing system, and ACH credit payments from online Bulk Filing system.
- At end of each day, prepare bank deposit. Review and verify deposit reports to ensure accuracy of the bank deposit. Investigate and correct any errors prior to depositing.
- Prepare documents for distribution to Imaging, Accounting Services, program areas who post cash receipts, and lockbox.
- Investigate errors on the items on the "unprocessables" work list from ARC Lockbox and give to Fiscal Analyst 1 to post payments received without accompanying coupons or other identifying information, etc.
- Review, verify, and resolve daily returned items from ARC Lockbox (miscellaneous documents, letters, and other non-payment items received at Lockbox).
