About The Position

FIS Developer needed to design, code, test, implement, maintain, and support PROFILE implementations and customizations, ensuring timely delivery. This role involves working closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements. The developer will provide application software development services or typical technical support, develop program logic for new applications, and analyze/modify logic in existing applications. Responsibilities include coding, testing, debugging, documenting, implementing, and maintaining software applications, as well as creating UNIT Test plans and deploying in Dev, QA, UAT, and PROD environments.

Requirements

• FIS Profile – core banking platform knowledge and hands-on experience with Mumps & PSL language and GTM database setup.
• Understand business requirements, read existing FIS profile configuration, and perform custom development, modification, or building of new customer procedures.
• Experience guiding FIS solution implementation.
• Cache/GTM experience.
• Strong working knowledge of database and SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Working experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps integration.
• Exposure to JIRA or other ALM tools to create a productive, high-quality development.

Nice To Haves

• Experience enabling FIS profile with Kafka or other event streaming applications.
