About The Position

Firstmark Services is the operational division for consumer loan servicing within Nelnet Diversified Services. We provide innovative and flexible financial solutions that enable our clients’ success and deliver a positive experience to their customers. The Specialty team is responsible for high-risk functions and requires detail-oriented individuals that perform with a high degree of quality. The Firstmark Services Specialist I - Specialty provides a superior customer experience, performing multiple complex duties, and researching unique issues within the Specialty team. The Firstmark Specialist I – Specialty associate will be responsible for prequalifying and processing customer’s cosigner release, loan modification, credit reporting and disputes, ID Theft/Fraud and bankruptcy processing. Must reside in Nebraska, Texas, or Wisconsin. Starting pay rate of $16.50 per hour

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s in Business or Accounting preferred.
  • 2 - 3 years of customer service, general office, accounting and research experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Loan Servicing and/or Originations systems preferred.
