About The Position

Goodwin's Corporate practice is seeking highly motivated third-year law students (JD 2027) to join our 2027 entry-level associate class. This is an opportunity to begin your career at a market-leading global law firm that advises many of the world's most innovative companies, investors, and entrepreneurs. From emerging growth companies and venture capital financings to private equity transactions, strategic M&A, public company counseling, and capital markets matters, our Corporate associates work on sophisticated transactions that shape industries. As a first-year associate, you will gain meaningful responsibility, hands-on experience, and direct exposure to clients, while working alongside lawyers who are recognized leaders in their fields. Requirements

• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• A demonstrated interest in corporate and transactional law
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Sound judgment, attention to detail, and a commitment to outstanding client service

• Prior corporate, transactional, or business-related experience is helpful but not required.
