About The Position

Responsible for loading/unloading of chicken products to and from trailers, and product movement on the loading dock. Product is sorted by code, pre-price, and master order number. Verification of quantity and product code is performed by using a scanning gun held over the product code on each box. Help maintain/improve quality and food safety, to ensure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well with others
• Ability to read and write numbers
• Good math skills
• Good communication skills
• Able to identify problems with labels, scan guns, rider pallet jacks, and forklifts
• Able to work in a 28ºF cold environment
• Must be able to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time (8-10 hrs) on a concrete/metal grate floor
• Must be able to show computer knowledge in order to deal with incoming and outgoing trucks
• Must be able to lift 65LBS+
• Maintain management standards
