About The Position

Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa is seeking friendly, energetic, and outgoing individual to fill a full-time position to work with patients, guests, and visitors to the PCI Medical Pavilions. The First Impressions Specialist creates an environment that makes our patients and guests feel welcome, comfortable, and cared for during the visit; providing a first and a lasting impression. This role requires excellent communication, customer service, and decision-making skills, teamwork, along with a sincere desire to serve our guests creating an outstanding patient experience.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required as well as basic computer skills.
  • Strong Commitment to patient care and teamwork.
  • Excellent communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer experience within a health care setting, and familiar with HIPAA guidelines (patient privacy).

Responsibilities

  • Influence customer satisfaction by greeting and welcoming patients and guests in a courteous manner by demonstrating service first behaviors.
  • Assist with any questions or concerns and help guests with navigation through the Medical Pavilions.
  • Work together with Pavilion Volunteers to escort patients and guests to their destination and provide wheelchair assistance as needed.
  • Be adept at problem solving and service recovery.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships utilizing friendly and positive body language, voice tone and word choices to demonstrate compassionate and genuine patient care.
  • Ensure that our patients and guests are provided with the highest level of hospitality in order to exceed guest expectations.
