About The Position
Grand Prairie Elementary School is seeking a dedicated First Grade Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE, 10-month position located at Grand Prairie Elementary School. The teacher will be responsible for creating an engaging learning environment for first-grade students.
Requirements
- Professional Educator's License (PEL) as set forth by the Illinois State Board of Education with the following applicable endorsement(s): Elementary Education Self-Contained General Education (SCGE, B-3) or; Self-Contained General Education (SCGE, K-9) or; Self-Contained General Education (SCGE, 1-6)

Benefits
- Salary for new staff members ranges from $53,067.00 to $76,187.00.
- Current staff members' pay/increases will be in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement between Frankfort Teachers' Association and Frankfort School District 157-C Board of Education.
