About The Position

First Article Inspector - Part Time Saturday-Sunday only (part time, possible Friday for training). Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required. This is a part-time weekend position, working Saturdays and Sundays, with potential for Friday work for training. The role is in a fast-paced, high-demand, quality environment within the Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing industry.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years Aerospace experience with First Article/First Piece Inspection.
• Strong Hexagon operational CMM experience.
• Experience with dial bore gages, Mueller gages, indicator mics, Sunnen gages etc.
• Must be very knowledgeable of GD&T.
• Experience in fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter and team oriented.
• U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status required.
• Ability to work 40+ hours per week.
• Sufficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Good problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform First Article/First Piece Inspection.
• Operate Hexagon CMM.
• Utilize dial bore gages, Mueller gages, indicator mics, Sunnen gages, etc.
• Ensure compliance with GD&T standards.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate self-starter and team-oriented qualities.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Utilize problem-solving skills.
