About The Position
Join Bright Vision Technologies as an experienced Firmware Software Engineer to support cutting-edge semiconductor development initiatives. This role involves working at the intersection of hardware and software to solve complex engineering challenges. You will collaborate closely with hardware, verification, and software engineering teams to develop scalable firmware, automation tools, and infrastructure supporting semiconductor design and manufacturing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
- 6+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong semiconductor industry experience
- Advanced programming skills in C, C++, Python
- Experience with EDA tools
- Experience with Verification workflows
- Experience with Post-silicon validation
- Strong understanding of hardware/software integration
- Experience with Cloud, Grid Computing, or HPC infrastructure
- Automation and scripting expertise
- Data pipeline development experience
- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills

- Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field
Responsibilities
- Developing firmware, device drivers, and Board Support Packages (BSPs)
- Building software tools for semiconductor design and verification
- Creating infrastructure supporting EDA workflows across cloud and HPC environments
- Designing post-silicon validation and test automation frameworks
- Building scalable data pipelines for silicon characterization and analytics
- Developing hardware debugging and diagnostic tools
- Collaborating with hardware engineers to design reliable software solutions
- Improving performance and scalability of engineering workflows
- Leading architecture discussions, code reviews, and design reviews
- Creating technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational guides
- Mentoring engineers through technical guidance and code reviews
- Evaluating emerging technologies and recommending new engineering tools
