The engineer will act as the interface between hardware components (sensors) and software systems, integrating and implementing sensors within the broader system architecture. Responsibilities also include supporting system sustainment, enhancements, and performance improvements. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams (software, electrical, and mechanical engineering) and working with technologies such as STM32 microcontrollers, CAN bus, and Raspberry Pi (in transition). The individual will operate as the primary firmware engineer on the team, driving ownership and accountability.
