About The Position
We are seeking a Firmware Engineer with proficiency in C++ and an advanced degree in Engineering or Computer Science. The ideal candidate will have experience in regulated industries and a strong understanding of Embedded System Design and asynchronous programming. Familiarity with ARM Cortex-M architectures, Assembly language, and DevOps tools like Git is essential. This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, experience with FMEAs and risk mitigation techniques, and leadership in process improvement activities.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C++
- Advanced degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- Experience in regulated industries
- Knowledge of Embedded System Design and asynchronous programming
- Experience with ARM Cortex-M architectures and Assembly language
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Git)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with FMEAs and risk mitigation techniques
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Proficiency in C programming
- 0-2 years of Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) experience
Responsibilities
- Firmware design, implementation, and testing
- Hardware/Firmware integration
- Unit testing using IDEs, debuggers, emulators, scopes, and logic analyzers
- Strong documentation and compliance with coding standards
- Ability to manage multiple product development programs
