About The Position

SEL is seeking a Firmware/Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. This role involves participating in the design, implementation, and testing of firmware/software systems, understanding hardware and software interactions, and collaborating with Hardware Engineers. The position also requires preparing and maintaining design and test documentation, and mentoring Associate Engineers and Technicians. The successful candidate will follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

Requirements

B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
Typically, 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Embedded systems firmware development including: Real-time, firmware design, C and assembly languages , C++
Graphical User Interface applications in Windows environments including: Object oriented design, Object oriented languages (C++, C#)
Test development including: Python and Perl, Other scripting languages

Responsibilities
