About The Position

This role focuses on firmware development, requiring strong C/C++ skills for embedded systems. The engineer will work on developing new features and debugging existing firmware, spanning from the Application Layer to the Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL). A key aspect of the role involves hands-on hardware debugging using various tools and understanding the full device development lifecycle. Experience within the Windows ecosystem, including driver development and validation, is highly preferred.

Requirements

• Strong embedded firmware development experience using C/C++.
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers.
• Experience with ARM processor architecture.
• Development experience across Application Layer to HAL.
• Hands-on hardware debugging using oscilloscopes, JTAG debuggers, I2C, SPI, and UART tools.
• Experience implementing new features and debugging existing firmware functionality.
• Understanding of SoC Hardware/Software architecture and device development lifecycle.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps (ADO), CI/CD pipelines, and software release processes.
• Programming experience in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, and Python.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of UEFI.
• Knowledge of ARM TrustZone.
• Knowledge of Bootloaders.
• Knowledge of BSPs.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and device development.
• Experience with Windows Drivers, WDK, SDK, ADK, and HLK.
• Familiarity with Windows device validation, debugging, and deployment tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded firmware using C/C++.
