We are looking for a safety‑driven emergency response professional who can effectively respond to fires, alarms, and other emergency situations to protect people, property, and equipment. The ideal candidate is trained in emergency first aid, CPR, and is comfortable communicating clearly during high‑pressure incidents. This role also requires versatility, as it includes general labor duties and the ability to work safely in physically demanding and hazardous environments as project needs change.

Requirements

  • Current or ability to obtain certification in Emergency First Aid and CPR.
  • Physically capable of working in confined spaces, at heights exceeding fifty feet, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including respiratory protection, as conditions require.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to respond to fire alarms and emergency situations and assist with controlling incipient‑stage fires.
  • Ability to administer basic first aid and assist individuals affected by fire or smoke.
  • Strong verbal communication skills to alert and warn others using alarms, air horns, radios, and verbal commands.
  • Willingness to participate in firefighting drills, training courses, and demonstrations.
  • Ability to perform general labor tasks, including lifting, digging, carrying materials, and job site cleanup.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment for routine, non‑machine construction and maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in physically demanding environments.
  • Flexibility to perform a variety of duties as project needs change.
