About The Position

Our enterprise-level client is seeking to add several 100% remote Firewall Platform Engineers to the team to work Eastern Standard Time. This is a 12+ month contract with possible extensions and potential for a permanent conversation, though not guaranteed. The role involves supporting the configuration, validation, and management of firewall platforms for client communication, fabric access, and application connectivity. You will assist with developing migration MOP elements involving firewall, NAT, and segmentation updates aligned to Optis migration phases. Additionally, you will contribute to establishing and validating firewall zones and security boundaries during infrastructure build activities, support functional, resiliency, and scale testing related to firewall performance during migration validation cycles, and assist with updating firewall platform documentation, contributing to final architecture guides, and supporting decommissioning of legacy firewall components.

Responsibilities
