About The Position

SAIC has an immediate need for a Fires Planning Cell – Theater Fires Planner located onsite at Shaw AFB, SC. The contractor shall provide FOUR (4) planners for 24-hour support, serving as principal advisors and subject matter experts for the integration and employment of joint and multinational lethal and non-lethal fires at the Army Service Component Command (ASCC) level.

Requirements

• Serve as principal advisors and subject matter experts for the integration and employment of joint and multinational lethal and non-lethal fires at the Army Service Component Command (ASCC) level.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) and Joint Planning Process (JPP).
• Develop Fires and Targeting portions of Theater Campaign Plans, OPLANs, and CONPLANs.
• Ensure long-range precision fires are synchronized with Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) assets.
• Facilitate the Decide, Detect, Deliver, and Assess (D3A) methodology within the Joint Targeting Cycle.
• Represent ASCC interests during the Joint Targeting Coordination Board (JTCB).
• Coordinate with Theater Fires Cell, JFACC, and multinational partners.
• Support Crisis Action Planning (CAP) cells and draft executive-level Information Papers as needed.
