Full Time Firefighter A-EMT
About The Position
South Ogden City is hiring a full-time Firefighter. Firefighters protect life and property by performing firefighting, emergency medical aid, and fire prevention and education duties. The position also includes minor maintenance of firefighting and medical equipment, apparatus, and facilities. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and hold A-EMT, Hazmat Awareness and Operations, and Firefighter II certifications, as well as a valid driver's license. Successful applicants must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen. The starting annual salary ranges from $54,293 to $71,463, based on experience and qualifications; a seasoned firefighter can earn up to $86,703.
