About The Position

The City of Rockledge is seeking qualified applicants for Firefighter in the Rockledge Fire Division, an all-hazards response entity within the Department of Public Safety. The division has three stations and 38 combat-assigned personnel, and emphasizes excellence, professionalism, state-of-the-art equipment, and training.

The position offers a California Swing Shift schedule and a starting salary of $54,000, including holiday pay and built-in overtime. Paramedics may receive an additional $12,000 annually. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Florida State Firefighter Minimum Standards/Firefighter II Certification.
• Florida (National Registry) EMT Certification.
• Valid BCLS Certification.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License.
