About The Position
South Ogden City is accepting applications for Part-Time Firefighter/AEMT. Firefighters provide a variety of entry-level firefighting duties related to protection of life and property by performing firefighting, emergency medical aid, and fire prevention/education duties. This position also performs minor maintenance efforts with firefighting and medical equipment, apparatus, and facilities.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- AEMT certification
- Hazmat Awareness and Operations certification
- Firefighter I and II Certification
- One year of experience
- Valid driver's license
- Pass a background check
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen
Responsibilities
- Perform entry-level firefighting duties related to protection of life and property.
- Provide emergency medical aid.
- Perform fire prevention/education duties.
- Perform minor maintenance on firefighting and medical equipment, apparatus, and facilities.
