About The Position

The City of Andover is seeking a dedicated, experienced Fire Technician to join the Andover Fire Department. This full-time position combines emergency response, fire suppression, emergency medical services, equipment maintenance, fire prevention, and community outreach. The schedule is primarily Monday through Friday during daytime hours. Applicants must submit a cover letter, resume, and city application form.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Firefighter I and II certifications.
• Hazardous Materials Operations certification.
• Active NREMT Emergency Medical Technician certification.
• At least 2 years of active firefighting experience, which may be full-time, part-time, or paid-on-call/volunteer in active status.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Dependable, safety-focused approach and ability to work in a team environment.
• Submit a cover letter, resume, and city application form.
