The purpose of the Fire Suppression Technician is to provide installation, inspection, service and/or repair of Fire Extinguishers and any Pre-Engineered Suppression Systems. This role involves using various tools and test equipment, maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of NFPA codes and standards, troubleshooting and repairing systems, and documenting work. The technician will also communicate professionally with customers, adhere to safety programs, and potentially train new technicians. Ensuring company vehicle maintenance and staying updated on industry changes through training are also key aspects of the position.
