About The Position
NELBUD is growing and seeking a Fire Suppression Service Technician to join their team. This role involves modernizing fire protection, kitchen exhaust hood cleaning, and grease trap services. The company focuses on promoting from within, offering continuous safety and development training, comprehensive health insurance (health, dental, vision, life), and a Pay on Demand benefit.
Requirements
- Ability to answer promptly to service calls
- Ability to access and tolerate small spaces and work in high places
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in fire suppression is strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be at least 20 years old
- A minimum of 3 years of driving experience is required
Responsibilities
- Inspection, repair, and maintenance of pre-engineered suppression systems, fire extinguishers, and emergency lights
- Inspect, repair, and exchange fire extinguishers on site and transport, as needed
- Inspect, repair, and replace emergency lighting
- Educate customers and sell products needed for code compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service while proudly representing NELBUD
