About The Position
NELBUD is growing and seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Fire Suppression Route Service Technicians. This role involves working independently, solving problems, and providing exceptional customer service. The technician will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and maintaining fire protection equipment at customer locations within an assigned territory.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily service route
- Comfortable working in tight spaces and at elevated heights
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Be at least 20 years old
- Have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience
- Meet company motor vehicle record requirements
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of fire suppression, fire protection, or fire extinguisher service experience preferred
- Candidates who already hold active Ohio Fire Extinguisher and Ohio Pre-Engineered Suppression Licenses may be eligible for a sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining pre-engineered suppression systems
- Servicing and recharging fire extinguishers
- Inspecting emergency lighting systems
- Educating customers on fire safety compliance requirements
- Maintaining accurate service documentation
- Delivering exceptional customer service while representing NELBUD professionally
