The position involves installing various types of fire sprinkler systems, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring compliance with codes and standards. Requirements

2+ years of fire sprinkler installation experience preferred
Knowledge of fire and building codes; OSHA required (MSHA a plus)
Basic computer and software skills
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Ability to work flexible hours or on-call when necessary
Ability to pass a national background check and pre-employment drug screen
Ability to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, or stoop for prolonged periods
Ability to operate a motor vehicle
Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and stairs
Ability to move about in areas with limited space and difficult access
Ability to safely lift, transport, and place objects up to 70 pounds without assistance
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
Ability to use trade-specific power tools such as hand tools, saws, and pipe cutters

Responsibilities

Install fire sprinkler systems including wet pipe, dry pipe, pre-action, and deluge systems
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Perform work in compliance with applicable fire codes, building codes, and OSHA standards
Use trade-specific tools and equipment to safely complete installations
Regional travel may be required; overnight stays possible
Work 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with flexibility as required
