About The Position

Impact Fire Services is seeking a self-motivated, customer-service oriented Fire Sprinkler Technician. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and a good communicator, with the ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with customers. This role involves identifying trouble areas and performing service efficiently to ensure sprinkler systems operate properly. Responsibilities include water-based installation and repair of various sprinkler systems (Wet, Dry, Pre-action, Deluge, and Foam), installation/hanging of sprinkler systems and components according to NFPA and engineering guidelines, and repair/replacement of all sprinkler system components. The technician will also perform disassembly, repair, and installation of sprinkler and backflow valves upon obtaining the necessary license.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years’ field experience in Fire Sprinkler and Backflow systems install and service
  • Possess an Oklahoma Sprinkler License
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements
  • Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years of proven success in performance of Sprinkler inspection, installation, and service is highly preferred
  • NICET Certification and/or Backflow License
  • The ability to perform inspections of wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam systems

Responsibilities

  • Identify trouble areas and perform service in an efficient and professional manner to ensure that sprinkler systems are operating properly
  • Responsible for water-based installation and repair of Wet, Dry, Pre-action, Deluge and Foam systems
  • Sprinkler and Backflow Systems Installation, Repair, & Service
  • Install/hang sprinkler systems and their components per NFPA and engineering guidelines
  • Install or replace wet, dry, pre-action, deluge and foam systems as needed.
  • Repair and/or replace all sprinkler systems components
  • Perform disassembly, repair, and installation of sprinkler and backflow valves (once receiving license)
