About The Position

Established in 2009, Impact Fire Services is a full-service fire protection and life safety company, providing installation, maintenance, inspection, monitoring, and retrofit of fire safety systems. They operate over 52+ district offices and employ over 2,100 employees across multiple states throughout the USA. Impact Fire Services offers an employee-focused company culture that provides mentorship and training from leading experts, including apprenticeship programs for various fire and life safety roles. The company is looking for a Fire Sprinkler Technician for new construction and service, with the position reporting to the Fort Smith office but working out of the Northwest Arkansas - Fayetteville & Springdale Areas. Impact Fire Services recently acquired Fire Systems Technology, a company with over 22 years of experience in fire protection services across Arkansas, Southern Missouri, Southern Kansas, and Eastern Oklahoma, specializing in fire sprinkler installation, repairs, renovations, inspections, and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Fire sprinkler installation and/or service experience
  • Must know how to read drawings
  • Can run, layout, measure, thread and cut pipe
  • Knowledge of Fire Sprinkler Systems installation methods
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with Company guidelines
  • Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required
  • MVR checks are required for all driving positions

Nice To Haves

  • Commercial Construction Experience
  • Knowledge of Fire Sprinkler System Design
  • Understands Fire Sprinkler Code
  • Must work in an efficient manner with little supervision

Responsibilities

  • Perform fire sprinkler installation for new construction.
  • Provide service for fire sprinkler systems.
  • Read drawings related to fire sprinkler systems.
  • Run, layout, measure, thread, and cut pipe.
  • Apply knowledge of Fire Sprinkler Systems installation methods.
