About The Position

Century Fire Protection is a large and successful full-service fire protection company based in the Southeast, specializing in the design, fabrication, installation, and maintenance of all types of fire protection systems for commercial markets. Headquartered in Duluth, GA, the company operates over 20 offices across seven states. This full-time position is responsible for generating new business and cultivating existing customer relationships by selling fire sprinkler systems, service, inspections, and retrofit solutions. The role requires close collaboration with estimating, operations, and project management teams to develop proposals, secure contracts, and deliver solutions that meet customer needs and comply with applicable fire and life safety codes. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2–5 years of experience in fire sprinkler sales, fire protection contracting, or related construction industry sales
  • Microsoft Office applications
  • CRM software

Nice To Haves

  • Additional technical or business education preferred
  • Strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems, applicable codes, and construction processes preferred

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, including general contractors, property managers, building owners, and end users.
  • Prospect and qualify new sales opportunities for fire sprinkler installation, retrofit, service, and inspection work.
  • Review construction documents, specifications, and site conditions to support accurate estimating and proposal development.
  • Prepare and present proposals, bids, and contracts in coordination with estimating and operations teams.
  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and scope of work to secure profitable projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and field teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Track sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools and internal reporting systems.
  • Stay current on applicable NFPA standards, local codes, and industry trends.
