About The Position

Responsible for generating new business and growing existing customer relationships by selling fire sprinkler systems, service, inspections, and retrofit solutions; works closely with estimating, operations, and project management teams to develop proposals, secure contracts, and deliver solutions that meet customer needs and applicable fire and life safety codes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or business education preferred
  • 2–5 years of experience in fire sprinkler sales, fire protection contracting, or related construction industry sales
  • strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems, applicable codes, and construction processes preferred.
  • Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.
  • Prolonged work at computer with frequent driving within assigned territory and ability to attend site visits and job walks
  • sit, stand, walk, close vision, ability to lift 25 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, including general contractors, property managers, building owners, and end users.
  • Prospect and qualify new sales opportunities for fire sprinkler installation, retrofit, service, and inspection work.
  • Review construction documents, specifications, and site conditions to support accurate estimating and proposal development.
  • Prepare and present proposals, bids, and contracts in coordination with estimating and operations teams.
  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and scope of work to secure profitable projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and field teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Track sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools and internal reporting systems.
  • Stay current on applicable NFPA standards, local codes, and industry trends.
