About The Position
Assist in the installation of wet, dry, pre-action and deluge fire protection piping, valves and accessories for commercial, residential buildings, and industrial applications in compliance with current codes. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety and functionality of fire protection systems across various building types.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0-6 months related experience or training
- Pre-employment drug screens
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation and repair of fire sprinkler systems per specifications.
- Lay out strings (pipe) along designated pipeline settings in the field.
- Connect pipe, using snap lock or wrench to tighten collar clamp.
- Attach revolving sprinkler heads to vertical pipes at designated points along the pipeline.
- Communicate with foreman and/or superintendent any safety hazards and discrepancies found on the job site.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Adhere to company safe working policies and procedures at all times.
