About The Position
Responsible for assisting with the installation of fire sprinkler systems on construction and retrofit projects. This is an entry-level role supporting foremen and fitters by performing basic labor tasks while learning fire sprinkler installation techniques, safety practices, and code requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- 0-2 years’ experience
- Basic computer skills, email.
Nice To Haves
- Construction or mechanical experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist fire sprinkler installers with system installation activities.
- Carry, stage, and organize materials, pipe, fittings, and tools.
- Cut, thread, and prep pipe under supervision.
- Assist with hanging pipe, installing hangers, and setting sprinkler heads.
- Support flushing, pressure testing, and system startup activities.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Participate in safety meetings and on-the-job training.
