The Fire Sprinkler Install Apprentice will learn and develop the skills necessary to install, test, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems. The apprentice will work under the guidance of experienced Fire Sprinkler Installation Technicians. The Fire Sprinkler Install Apprentice will assist the Fire Sprinkler Install Technicians in the accurate and efficient installation of fire sprinkler systems, following blueprints and specifications. They will need to progress steadily through all aspects of the apprenticeship training program. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Learn and apply proper techniques to cut, thread, and fit pipes, ensuring precise alignment and secure connections for the fire sprinkler system. Acquire knowledge of fire sprinkler system components, codes, regulations, and safety procedures. Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including installation details, repairs, inspections, and tests, to ensure compliance with regulations and facilitate future maintenance. Work closely with the installation team to ensure timely completion of projects, providing support and assistance as required. Demonstrate a professional and customer-focused approach when interacting with Foremen, Superintendents, Project Managers, Coworkers, Subcontractors, and Customers Addressing customer concerns and providing assistance as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of Fire Sprinkler or Construction experience is required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in working with hand and power tools.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in the field of fire sprinkler system installation.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
