Fire Sprinkler Foreman
About The Position
Impact Fire Services is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Foreman to oversee the installation of fire protection systems for various new and existing projects, including Industrial, Commercial, and some Residential. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NFPA code, design and installation methods, hydraulic calculations, and material lists for fire sprinkler systems. This role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team of fire protection professionals at a rapidly growing company with deep experience across multiple industries.
Requirements
- Fire Sprinkler experience
- General mechanical knowledge
- Experience in Fire Protection Installation or Design
- Demonstrated competency in verbal and written business communication skills.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with Company guidelines
- Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
- MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
Nice To Haves
- NICET certification preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Oversee Fire Protection Systems installation for all types of new and existing projects (Industrial, Commercial, Residential).
- Comprehend NFPA code, design/installation methods, hydraulic calculations & material lists for fire sprinkler systems.
- Understand design & Layout of Fire Sprinkler Systems.
- Perform Hydraulic Calculations.
- Conduct Field Surveying.
- Understand listing of system piping for fabrication.
- Coordinate installation between trades.
- Manage costs and understand budgets.
- Oversee installation labor on assigned projects.
