About The Position

Impact Fire Services is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Foreman to oversee the installation of fire protection systems for new and existing projects, including Industrial, Commercial, and Residential. The role requires comprehension of NFPA code, design/installation methods, hydraulic calculations, and material lists for fire sprinkler systems. Requirements

  • Fire sprinkler experience
  • General mechanical knowledge
  • Experience in Fire Protection Installation or Design
  • Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
  • MVR checks are required for all driving positions.

Nice To Haves

  • NICET certification preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated competency in verbal and written business communication skills.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with Company guidelines
  • Able to complete documentation and administrative duties as necessary; proficient in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Fire Protection Systems installation for all types of new and existing projects (Industrial, Commercial, Residential).
  • Comprehend NFPA code, design/installation methods, hydraulic calculations & material lists for fire sprinkler systems.
  • Understand design & Layout of Fire Sprinkler Systems.
  • Perform Hydraulic Calculations.
  • Conduct Field Surveying.
  • Understand listing of system piping for fabrication.
  • Coordinate installation between trades.
  • Manage costs and understand budgets.
  • Oversee installation labor on assigned projects.
