Fire Sprinkler Fitter Foreman
About The Position
B&C Fire Safety is a 45 plus year locally owned, family focused company with offices in Fort Walton Beach, Santa Rosa Beach and Panama City Beach. B&C specializes in all facets of fire protection products and services. Our clients are comprised of commercial, industrial, hospitality, military and local, state, federal government markets. Our life safety protection services include the design, installation, inspection and maintenance of fire extinguishers, fire sprinkler systems, fire suppression systems and fire alarm systems. Our current territory spans the entire Florida Panhandle including Pensacola, Panama City and Tallahassee. We are currently seeking a qualified Fire Sprinkler Service Technicians.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Fire Sprinkler Field
- Familiar with NFPA 13
- Knowledge of all NFPA codes and standards
- Ability to climb ladders, operate high lift equipment, carry and move material
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess a valid and clean driver’s license
- Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Nicet II Certification is a plus but not required
- Self motivator with no supervision required
Responsibilities
- Layout and installation of fire sprinkler systems
- Interpret blueprints and architect drawings
- Interact and communicate in a professional and positive manner with the customer, project managers, county officials, general contractors
- Maintain accurate and precise documentation daily
- Perform work in an efficient and organized manner
- Install, troubleshoot and repair all types of Fire Sprinkler Systems (wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, fire pumps, etc.)
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Complete site surveys and identify code issues and solutions
