About The Position

This is a working supervisory position responsible for supervising and providing hands-on installation and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements. Approximately 50% of the time is spent in the field supervising projects, and 50% is spent in the office handling administrative duties such as ordering parts/materials, participating in progress billing meetings, and scheduling. The role also involves maintaining company vehicles and protecting company assets.

Requirements

  • Prior experience scheduling projects/labor, overseeing projects, ordering parts/materials and progress billing meetings.
  • Excellent selling, communications, and customer service skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and codes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in NFPA standards.
  • 10 years in the industry with at least 3 years of leadership experience.
  • Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
  • MVR checks are required for all driving positions.

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory experience preferred, but not required.
  • NICET I or II certifications preferred.
  • Applicable experience either in the fire protection industry or the commercial customer service business in some capacity.
  • An ability to provide services across multiple product lines skills is highly preferred.
  • Ability to learn and comprehend general electrical safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and provide hands-on installation and maintenance on fire sprinkler systems in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Order parts/materials.
  • Participate in progress billing meetings.
  • Schedule field activities.
  • Maintain company vehicle in accordance with company procedures and ensure it is clean and organized.
  • Protect the Company’s assets.
  • Schedule projects/labor.
  • Oversee projects.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and manage all field activities related to fire sprinkler system installation.
  • Oversee and lead fire sprinkler installation crews, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant fire codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Monitor the quality of work to minimize defects and ensure the system meets project specifications.
  • Collaborate with other trades, contractors, and project managers to ensure smooth project progress.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or problems that arise during installation, maintenance or repair.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any necessary documentation for project closeout.
