Requirements

Degree in a design/drafting-related program.
Related design experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Mathematically and technically inclined to learn industry-specific software and codes.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment.

Maintaining cutting-edge industry knowledge.
Ability to execute tasks with a great amount of detail.

Nice To Haves

AutoSprink experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Design automatic sprinkler systems using AutoCAD and AutoSprink.
Plan, organize and execute projects in conjunction with a Sales Project Manager.
Conduct on-site field surveys.
Generate hydraulic calculations.
Submit drawings to obtain the required building permits.
Perform 3D BIM coordination using NavisWorks.
Prepare stock lists.
Ensure projects adhere to the proposed timeline.
Prepare project close-out, operation and maintenance documents.
Mentor Designers with less experience (for candidates with more experience).
