About The Position
The Fire Sprinkler Apprentice is an entry-level position assisting with fire sprinkler system installation on construction and retrofit projects. The apprentice supports foremen and fitters by performing basic labor tasks while learning installation techniques, safety practices, and code requirements. The role is based in Jacksonville, Florida, and is full-time.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- 0–2 years of experience.
- Basic computer skills, including email.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and variable weather conditions.

- Construction or mechanical experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist fire sprinkler installers with system installation activities.
- Carry, stage, and organize materials, pipe, fittings, and tools.
- Cut, thread, and prepare pipe under supervision.
- Assist with hanging pipe, installing hangers, and setting sprinkler heads.
- Support flushing, pressure testing, and system startup activities.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Participate in safety meetings and on-the-job training.
