This skilled position involves troubleshooting and repairing installed systems, including panel repair/reprogram, device replacement/repair, resolving low voltage circuit troubles, and system testing. The role requires organizing and effectively utilizing technical resources, information, material, and support to assure efficient execution of all assigned tasks. The candidate must possess excellent written/verbal communication and outstanding customer service skills. The position involves the programming of fire alarm, security, and access control system panels. Experience with CCTV and IT and IP networks is a plus. Completing and submitting all required task-related, activity, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner is essential. On-call and after-hours work is required on occasion based on customer need. Providing recommendations and solutions to ensure facilities are running efficiently, including upselling opportunities and providing quotes to support these recommendations and solutions, is also a key part of the role.
