About The Position

We are seeking a seasoned, home-based Fire Safety Consultant to join our dynamic consultancy team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety and challenge, as you’ll be conducting fire risk assessments, audits, and providing top-tier consultancy support to our clients. Your week will be a mix of on-site visits and home-based report writing, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule. Travel to various sites is essential, so a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required.

Requirements

High level qualification and relevant experience in a Fire related subject
Experience in undertaking both commercial and residential Fire Risk Assessments.
Thorough knowledge of relevant UK standards and codes
Proven technical ability
Good report writing, IT and communication skills
Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle

Nice To Haves

Chartered Membership of IFE
Compilation of Fire Strategy documents
An understanding of smoke control calculations and thermal radiation analyses
Health and Safety qualification such as NEBOSH Certificate
