Fire Protection Technician
About The Position

This is a fully field-based role with no office work. The role involves 70% field work, traveling to customer sites for installation, inspection, and servicing of fire suppression systems. It also includes mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting, working with industrial, commercial, and mobile equipment systems, interacting directly with customers, and completing service documentation accurately.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel and work extended hours when required
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug/alcohol screening
- French required
- English is an asset (ability to understand technical documentation)
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair fire suppression systems (vehicle, industrial and commercial)
- Test and certify systems to ensure compliance with codes and standards
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
- Provide on-site customer support
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
- Travel to customer locations, including occasional out-of-region work
