Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must meet the required norms on an aptitude test.
  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand, bend, and crouch throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must follow safety regulations at all times, including the use of hearing, hand, knee, and foot safety equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Machine operation and threading piping for fire protection systems.
  • Providing overall support by banding and bundling pipe.
  • Working with a crane and cart system to move pipe throughout the shop.
  • Shop sweeping.
  • Equipment cleanup.
