About The Position

Doyle Security Services is hiring a Fire Life Safety Director for a high-end hotel. The role observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site to support the security and safety of client property and personnel. The director conducts periodic tours to identify irregularities, preserves order, and may enforce site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and premises. The work requires standing for most of the workday.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 1500–2300. The pay is up to $32.00 per hour. The role also requires the ability to work overtime and weekends.

Requirements

• Valid FDNY T-89 or F-89 Fire Life Safety Director license.
• Valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
• Ability to stand for the majority of the workday.
• Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum two years of hotel FLSD experience (preferred).
• Associate degree or higher in a fire- or security-related field (preferred, not required).
• Protective security experience is a plus.
• Technical working knowledge of building systems.

Responsibilities
